Raiders of the Lost Ark has always been one of my favourite films and as it's the 40th Anniversary of its release this year I wanted to make and Alternative Movie Poster to celebrate the occasion.

The iconic opening sequence is probably my favourite scene of film so I knew I wanted to paint something based around this. I choose the moment where Indy picks up the idol and gives a nice little hat tip just as the trap is activated.
